N\u00e9anmoins, nous allons vous aider \u00e0 mieux le comprendre et \u00e0 communiquer avec lui.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Comprendre ses miaulements<\/h2>\n<p>Le r\u00e9pertoire vocal du chat comprendrait 16 vocalises diff\u00e9rentes chez l\u2019adulte et 9 chez le chaton. On distingue les murmures \u00e9mis gueule ferm\u00e9e, les \u00ab voyelles \u00bb \u00e9mises en fermant progressivement la gueule et les cris avec la bouche ouverte.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Le miaulement constitue une demande. Suivant sa tonalit\u00e9, il se fait chuchotement ou protestation.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Votre chat vocalise en boucle, avec peu de silences entre deux miaulements ? C&rsquo;est pour lui une situation plut\u00f4t positive, excitante.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Votre chat \u00e9met des vocalises courtes espac\u00e9es par de longs silences ? C\u2019est une fa\u00e7on de lancer un SOS. D\u2019ailleurs, les chatons utilisent ce signal pour alerter leur m\u00e8re.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les ronronnements sont associ\u00e9s au plaisir le plus souvent mais aussi parfois \u00e0 l&rsquo;anxi\u00e9t\u00e9 : le chat ronronne alors pour se rassurer lui-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n<p>Les sifflements ou crachements sont la manifestation de la col\u00e8re ou de la peur : dans ce cas, mieux vaut le laisser en paix.<\/p>\n<p>Il arrive que votre chat pr\u00e9sente un claquement de dents associ\u00e9 \u00e0 un miaulement ? Ce comportement est caract\u00e9ristique d\u2019un chat qui regarde une proie. Parfois il somnole en \u00e9coutant les bruits de la maison. S\u2019il entend un bruit inhabituel, ses oreilles se pointent alors vers l\u2019avant.<\/p>\n<h3>Soyez attentif !<\/h3>\n<p>Sentiment de peur : <strong>Quand la peur s&rsquo;installe, les oreilles se couchent, le cou est rentr\u00e9, la queue est sur le sol, agit\u00e9e de petits mouvements nerveux<\/strong>. Cette agitation de la queue signifie souvent un d\u00e9but d&rsquo;attaque alors attention !<\/p>\n<p>Sentiment de col\u00e8re : Avec la col\u00e8re, le corps s&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e8ve, le poil se dresse, la queue dessine un arc, les crocs sont sortis et les griffes aussi !<\/p>\n<p>Les mouvements de la queue sont, en effet, des indicateurs facilement perceptibles par le propri\u00e9taire. Le balancement de la queue indique une \u00e9motion, qu\u2019elle soit positive ou n\u00e9gative, mais le plus souvent, c\u2019est un signe annonciateur d\u2019agression.<\/p>\n<p>Les poils de la queue se h\u00e9rissent lors de chaque forme d\u2019agression (par irritation, territoriale, par peur\u2026).<\/p>\n<p>Toujours l\u00e0 pour vous accueillir : \u00e0 votre arriv\u00e9e, votre chat arrive vers vous de face, la queue relev\u00e9e, verticale ou l\u00e9g\u00e8rement recourb\u00e9e \u00e0 son extr\u00e9mit\u00e9. Il se sent en confiance et est attach\u00e9 \u00e0 vous.
